Getting back to nature has never been easier. The Green is tucked away on the headland above Falmouth Bay, surrounded by National Trust coastline.

Lose yourself as you look out over the deep, blue waters of the bay, then pick your way along the rocky cliffs with their carpets of green. Golden beaches are tucked amongst the headlands, just waiting for you to sink your feet into their sands.

If you can tear yourself away, you won’t have any issues leaving Falmouth. Trains run to Truro, where you can connect onto a service to London Paddington. The A30 dual carriageway runs up to the M5 at Exeter. If you want to go even further, Newquay Airport can connect you to destinations in the UK and abroad.

More than golf, more to enjoy

If you can bear to leave your smart home and the golf course, you’ll find a huge amount to do. From nearby Swanpool Beach, you can walk the rugged coastal path and feel the wind blowing in your face. One direction will take you to Gyllyngvase Beach and on into Falmouth. The other way, you’ll stumble upon charming Maenporth Beach, tucked away like a secret between two gently sloping headlands.

If you’re a fan of water sports, you can enjoy yacht and dingy racing, gig rowing, paddle-boarding, diving and fishing in the local area. For the keen day sailor or dedicated yachtsman, the South Cornish coast boasts some of the finest sailing waters in the UK.

With Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the Helford and Fal rivers and the Roseland peninsula, you won’t be short of nature to lose yourself in.

You’ll also be perfectly placed for some of Cornwall’s most picturesque spots, including Helford Passage just five miles away, and the fishing village of Coverack.
