Halo Village

Purpose Built Student Accommodation

THE WORLD’S FIRST ZERO-CARBON

STUDENT VILLAGE

We’re told we need to compromise. It’s the only way to get things done.
But we don’t believe that.

Not when it comes to climate change. Not when it comes to the housing crisis. Not when it comes to the mental health epidemic. There’s no room for compromise. Not now.

So, we’re building the world’s first Zero Carbon Student Community and housing the leaders of tomorrow in a beautiful, sustainable village. While throwing open the doors to local people.

Filling it with green spaces and protecting its biodiversity. Going beyond zero with Energy Plus buildings. Creating green jobs and helping fulfil Cornwall’s green ambitions. All without adding any carbon to the atmosphere. Showing there’s a better way to build.

Zero carbon. Zero compromise.

Halo Village enhances local living with more than just sustainable student accommodation. New amenities include a modern doctor’s surgery, a state-of-the-art gym, a multi-use sports ground, and retail space prioritising independent shops, cafés, and restaurants.

This community is where wellbeing, sustainability, and local business thrive together.

A LOW-IMPACT
DEVELOPMENT.

Halo Village will deliver a 40% improvement to biodiversity, ensuring the natural environment is in a better state after the development than before. The site plan has been carefully redrawn to retain over 1,000 metres of hedgerow, preserving essential habitats and supporting local wildlife.

To maintain the natural beauty of the area, Halo Village will be no more than four storeys high—approximately the height of a mature oak tree—blending harmoniously into the landscape.

MEETING FALMOUTH’S NEEDS,
AND THE PLANETS.

Due to its large student population, Falmouth faces a significant housing challenge, with over five times more Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMOs) than any other town in Cornwall. Halo Village is a groundbreaking Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) development designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality student housing.

Providing dedicated accommodation for students at Exeter and Falmouth universities, Halo Village will ease pressure on local housing, freeing up homes for working people and families. Built to zero carbon standards, this PBSA development supports sustainable living and contributes to the UK’s net zero targets.
